Nothing like some good ‘ol competition…
We celebrated the first day of spring by spending most of it outdoors! Rain over the weekend loosened up our rock-like dirt and provided an opportunity to tackle the forest of weeds in the backyard.
Armed with rulers, eager hands went a-plucking in search of the longest roots! Along the way we laughed, watched a baby Praying Mantis prance in the grass and rescued unearthed earthworms.
They didn’t even realize that they were doing chores or science, or math… {hiding laughter}
